God has richly blessed us with a beautiful setting and eloquent facilities. We want to be obedient to Him. Our ministry here is clear to us. We are called to offer this beautiful place to others Christians, invite captivating messengers here to teach and challenge us, to offer our guests humble, eco-friendly activities, exciting opportunities for fellowship with other Christians and to facilitate communion with God in His beautiful wilderness.
We do not believe that we are the owners of anything, everything in this world belongs to God and we are mere stewards of His, taking care of His many gifts and obeying His command.
It is our hope that someday we will be able to focus on our ministry exclusively. He brings many people here to us throughout the year for many reasons. Vacationers, corporate groups ... In practical terms, this pays the bills. We hope to be a shining light for them too, so that they can see and feel the love and power of Jesus Christ moving in our lives. Furthermore, this remote region, is fertile territory for mission work and we trust that God has put us here to touch others that dwell beyond the property lines.

A Calling from the Wilderness Christian Spiritual Retreats believes that all human beings have an inborn need to grow closer to God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God manifested in human form.

Jesus was sent to the earth to save us from ourselves, to forgive us of our sins, to teach us the right way to live and to give us hope that we can change and grow to become better people. We believe that He died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice of His love for us.

Our mission here in Malartic, Quebec, Canada is to provide God's people with powerful messengers, in a beautiful setting, with humble activities and plenty of opportunities to grow.

It is our vision that God will bring us captivating orators that can work through the facilities that God has blessed us with so that we can organize Christian events that will be instruments in helping others find deeper and more meaningful purposes in their lives, in their relationships and with their God.
