There are many bays to try your luck fishing and easy access to several beaver ponds, frequent moose watering holes. We know of spots where black bears gather on the water's edge.

Auberge Cartier Canoeing Expeditions. A popular activities on the resort. This year we are offering canoe day trips. We provide lifejackets, canoes and paddles. Included in this activity is a shore luch and we have an experienced guide available to assist you in your wilderness journey.

Just around the bend in the lake is a great beaver creek. On most days we can paddle upstream quite easily. This is a good spot for wildlife photographers wanting to take pictures of moose. There is a large beaver population here as well.

Guided Canoe Trips are available this year. We have several two-people canoes and two Voyageur style canoes that can fit up to twelve people comfortably. This is a family favourite, great outdoor exercise and everybody gets to help out with the simple propulsion method.
